Overview:
To support our global growth ambitions, Teknor Apex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Consumer Products. The VP, Business Manager, is responsible for the profit and loss of the Consumer Business Unit and provides leadership and vision for the Consumer Products business. This critical executive role ensures that the Annual Operating Plan is delivered with excellence. The VP executes the strategy, champions a culture of continuous improvement, and drives the development of transformative technologies and processes across the Consumer Products Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own P&L execution for a $200M+ business; deliver against AOP for revenue, gross profit, and unit sales.
- Lead business strategy development and deployment aligned with corporate vision and market shifts.
- Manage and empower cross-functional teams spanning commercial, marketing, supply chain, and operations.
- Oversee pipeline development for both product innovation and customer growth.
- Serve as the executive face of the business with key strategic customers and retail partners.
- Evaluate and approve major programs and new product initiatives based on ROI and market fit.
- Drive internal alignment, continuous improvement, and margin expansion across the business.
- Champion talent development, succession planning, and team engagement.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of leadership and business management in a manufacturing and consumer retail environment; B2C or B2B2C experience highly preferred.
- Proven record in driving growth through mass retail, big box, or club channels.
- Related experience in Commercial, Supply Chain and Operations is desired
- Strong commercial acumen, including sales, product, and marketing leadership.
- Executive presence with excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
