Part time 30 hours per week
Band 3 - Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum (pro rata)
Distant Island Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata)
Are you someone who has an interest in health care particularly that of child bearing women and their babies? As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker you would work as a valued member of our small team providing support to and working under the direction of midwives within the Maternity department. There is also an opportunity to work within the wider reproductive health service which includes the sexual health clinic. You will be expected to work both day and night shifts as well as weekends.
You will have experience working within a caring environment, have effective communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative to work without direct supervision.

You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role – details can be viewed on http://www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk/resources/hcsw-standards-and-codes/
To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service.
