Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Studio Technology team in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical project manager and scrum master with a proven track record in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management. This role will involve leading multiple project teams, managing complex technology projects from definition through implementation, and serving as a key contributor to the evolution of our project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership : Lead multiple project teams to ensure on-time, in-scope, and in-budget delivery of technology projects while managing day-to-day operational aspects including scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Scrum Master Operations : Perform as scrum master across one or more project teams, conducting daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Stakeholder Management : Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to understand and manage project requirements, scope, timelines, and budget while providing clear project status reporting to stakeholders and management.
  • Resource and Risk Management : Identify and communicate resource constraints, potential priority conflicts, and create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning to support organizational decision-making.
  • Documentation and Quality Assurance : Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately while preparing for project reviews and quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Technical degree is a plus
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a project manager using Agile/Scrum methodologies with demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Skills: Proficiency in Jira (required), proven track record in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing large-scale technology projects, strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Certifications: Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Other: Must support Studio One application, ability to work onsite in Glendale 3-4 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday), excellent communication skills across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in Media, Entertainment, or Technology industries, experience with scheduling, budgeting and collaboration tools, proven ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively, and deliver engaging presentations.
