We are seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Recruiter to join our team supporting behavioral health and substance abuse treatment programs. The Recruiter will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring qualified professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by mental health disorders and substance use.

Responsibilities
- Partner with program directors, clinical leadership, and HR to understand hiring needs across counseling, nursing, case management, and support staff roles.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to identify top talent, with a focus on licensed clinicians, recovery specialists, peer support professionals, and administrative staff.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer coordination.
- Build strong candidate pipelines through networking, outreach, professional associations, colleges, and community partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational hiring regulations, particularly related to healthcare and behavioral health standards.
- Promote the organization’s mission and values to candidates, emphasizing our commitment to recovery, inclusivity, and compassionate care.
- Track and report recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit sectors.
- Familiarity with roles specific to mental health and substance abuse treatment (LCSW, LMHC, LADC, RN, Peer Recovery Coach, etc.).
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to reducing stigma and supporting equitable access to care.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements for behavioral health professionals.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
