Job Summary

iDox is seeking an experienced and highly motivated C# .NET Software Developer with strong SQL skills to join our team supporting a secure Government environment in Charleston, SC. This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy desktop applications, developing unattended/headless processes, and creating modern web-based applications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced government contracting environment and can work seamlessly with both technical teams and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Windows-based and web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework (C#, SQL).
  • Support and maintain legacy desktop applications using WPF/XAML.
  • Develop automated processes, including headless/unattended operations.
  • Implement solutions using Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture when applicable.
  • Participate in full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements gathering, system design, coding, debugging, and deployment.
  • Utilize Git for source control and collaborate using modern development practices.
  • Create and maintain automated tests and builds to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Work with XML and JSON data formats for data integration and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-vendor, government-supervised environment.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and SQL development.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio for development and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience developing WPF/XAML applications.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with MVVM architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Experience with automated testing and build pipelines.
  • Experience working with XML and JSON.
  • Knowledge of secure software development best practices.
  • Previous experience in a government contracting environment.

Security Clearance

  • Active Top Secret clearance.
