Responsibilities
Job Description
- Assist in report writing, literature searches, creation of presentations and other communication or project deliverables as needed for accomplishing a suite of applied research and management projects.
- Conduct surveys, data collection, document development, data entry, basic statistical analysis, project deliverable organization, and map creation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong natural resources component such as Biology, Wildlife, Natural Resources, or other closely related program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to conduct field work in a variety of settings and weather.
- Basic skills in Microsoft suite products especially PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of federal and/or state policy and legislative procedures.
- Basic competency in ArcGIS and statistical software.
- Knowledge or experience working on Department of Defense, Military Service, or other military
- Knowledge of federal laws and their application such as but no limited to the Sikes Act, Endangered Species Act, etc.
