Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Benefits & Insurance Coordinator to support our HR and insurance operations. This role involves managing employee benefit records, coordinating insurance-related processes, and ensuring smooth system integrations across platforms. Ideal candidates may come from HR, payroll, or medical billing backgrounds and must be proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating multiple software systems. Familiarity with platforms such as Employee Navigator, ADP, or medical billing systems is highly preferred. Licensing will be required within 60 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process eligibility changes including new enrollments and terminations of coverage
- Manage and update employee address changes and salary modifications in benefits systems
- Submit and follow up on ID card requests for employees
- Generate and review COBRA eligibility reports to ensure compliance
- Identify and resolve EDI discrepancies between internal records and carrier data
- Build and manage employee benefit structures within Employee Navigator
- Establish and maintain carrier connections and system integrations
- Respond to employee and internal inquiries related to Employee Navigator
- Utilize Excel to track, review, and analyze claims data and other benefits metrics
- Collaborate with vendors and carriers to ensure seamless benefits administration
- Experience in benefits administration or a related HR support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- Familiarity with benefits platforms such as Employee Navigator and EDI processes, preferred
- Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP, Paylocity, Paychex/FLOCK, preferred
