Working with Portal teams (capture), Infrastructure/Data Platform (validation & pipelines), and Comms/CRM (messaging), you'll own the backlog, specifications, acceptance testing, and post-launch monitoring that keep data quality high and orders moving.
Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize and groom the backlog across order data areas like contact, insurance, consent, payment type, family-member details, address validity, and reimbursement-readiness signals.
- Lead cross-functional discovery with product, engineering, operations, billing/RCM, compliance/legal, customer support, and analytics to surface, size, and sequence the highest-impact automation opportunities.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories that define field rules (what "good" looks like), how records are validated, and what happens when data passes or fails (e.g., send a notification, create a task, call an API); verify delivery against acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate service integrations (notifications, tasking, prior-authorization services, CRM) to ensure data integrity, timely error handling, auditability, and scalable patterns.
- Define and maintain simple scorecards that track data quality and automation performance; review trends and drive iterations to raise pass rates and reduce delays.
- Own the rules and triggers library and keep it current when payer policies, consent requirements, or regulations change.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies—backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives—to keep the team aligned and unblock delivery.
- Produce clear artifacts such as data-contract specs, rule and trigger definitions, flow diagrams, test plans/UAT scripts, baseline reports, and release notes.
- Define and track KPIs such as:
- Data validation pass rate
- Order completion rate
- First-time-right claim rate
- Visibility coverage
- 2–5 years product-ownership / product-management experience in data quality, workflow automation, or healthcare operations (RCM a plus).
- Working knowledge of order-intake data and flows: contact, insurance, consent, payment type; basics of prior auth and claims
- Systems thinking: can map capture → validate → trigger → outcome across portals, data platform, messaging/CRM, and operations.
- Analytical, communicative, execution-focused: sets clear KPIs, baselines performance, reads simple SQL/BI, and turns insight into backlog priorities.
- Familiar with privacy/consent frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, TCPA/CAN-SPAM) and translating policy into field rules and messaging guardrails.
- Comfortable partnering with platform engineers and vendors; adept at turning business rules into data-contract and trigger specs with crisp acceptance criteria.
- Fluent in agile delivery and modern product discovery (intake, grooming, UAT, change control).
- Bachelor's degree preferred; nice-to-have: Salesforce/CRM experience, EDI basics, payer-policy exposure, or document/AI extraction.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Work is primarily performed in a remote office setting.

SEQUENCING HAS THE POWER TO SOLVE DIAGNOSTIC CHALLENGES.
From sequencing to reporting and beyond, our technical and clinical experts are providing guidance every step of the way:
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.
- Advanced detection: By interrogating genes for complex variants, we can identify the underlying causes of conditions that may otherwise be missed.
- Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
- Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
- Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis. These efforts ultimately deliver more diagnostic findings to individuals.
