Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed proposals, estimates, and designs for masonry, hardscape, and landscape projects.
  • Conduct accurate plan takeoffs, site assessments, and pre-bid analyses to evaluate project feasibility.
  • Calculate labor, material, and equipment needs, maintaining order logs and change order records.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure design accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Create computer renderings and visual presentations using industry software.
  • Meet with new clients, discuss project goals, and present proposals confidently.
  • Apply expertise in various masonry and hardscape construction methods, including retaining walls, paver walkways/patios, outdoor kitchens, paver driveways, restoration, stucco, repointing, walls, chimneys, steps, and landings.
  • Collaborate with project managers to submit timely, competitive bids.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of residential masonry and landscape estimating experience.
  • Hands-on field experience in masonry/brick/block construction.
  • Landscape Design working knowledge of plant types and placement.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and estimating/design software.
  • Ability to produce high-quality renderings using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
