Summary Of Job Description

The Executive Director, Operations Services is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of Panda’s Operations excellence though standards, systems, and communication/implementation. This position supports the COO by driving strategic Operations initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration between the Support Center and Operations teams, and maintaining leadership alignment across all levels of the organization. The Executive Director, Operations Services is responsible for leading and overseeing the Operations Services team, coaching and developing managers and professionals to elevate their performance to support the company’s growth goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategizes the development and implementation of Operations planning processes, including but not limited to defining problems to be solved, providing recommended solutions, prioritizing of initiatives, gaining alignment among all parties, and formally tracking and measuring results.
  • Leads efforts to optimize communication effectiveness between Support Center and Operations, as well as Operations Leadership (e.g., meeting cadence, defining meeting objectives, proper execution of digital platforms, and formal written communication at the enterprise-wide level)
  • Leads and owns the ongoing development and execution of the internal Operations audit program (P.A.S.S. – Panda Audit Standard System).
  • Drives the overall improvement of Operations systems and processes by implementing more data-informed and systems-driven processes. Finds and improves overall ways of working in Operations and the collaboration with Support Center stakeholders
  • Leads and organizes the strategic planning process within the Operations Services group, alongside the Chief Operations Officer.
  • Leads and oversees the Operations Services team, coaching and developing managers and professionals to elevate their performance to support the company’s growth goals. Responsible for recruiting, selecting, and managing the performance of the Operations Services team directly and through subordinate managers.
  • Leads the effort to obtain Senior Leadership alignment with the Ops Services organization and effectively communicate new initiatives with a clear and organized plan for implementation and sustainability

Your Background And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Operations management experience (ACO or higher) and/or Operations Services; multi-unit restaurant management and project/program management experience for a multi-unit environment preferred
  • Minimum twelve to fifteen years of relevant experience in an Operations or Support Center leadership role with increasing managerial responsibility
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: M5: $205,000 - $288,000 / Annual

  • Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
