The HRIS Administrator is part of the Payroll and Benefits team and is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the HRIS software and other related HR systems. Additional duties include managing and processing employee data, generating reports, and ensuring data systems are compliant with regulations. The HRIS Administrators report directly to the HRIS Department Manager and work closely with the HR, Payroll, Benefits and the VP of Compensation and Benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with overseeing and maintaining the ideal function of the HRIS, which includes installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules, including Dayforce, Paradox, and Wrike, among other systems.
  • With a primary focus on our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assists with managing permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Build reports within the HRIS platform for users to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and ensure data integrity
  • Build processes and projects for end users within our project management software while maintaining ease and efficiency
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Serves as a representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Works together with HRIS team and IT Analysts to ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in HRIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - can adjust communication to the level of the listener when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Possesses an analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Skilled in managing, analyzing, and reporting data using tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional, engaging, and effective manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, prioritize and meet tight deadlines as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with Dayforce, Paradox or Wrike is a plus.
  • Restaurant staff experience preferred.

  • Physical requirements are the ability to perform a manual data input function for up to 50% of an 8-hour day on regular basis.
