This role will contribute to shaping policies, strengthening partner engagement, and advancing capability development in alignment with NATO’s strategic priorities. Travel may be required.

We are seeking an experienced Partners Capabilities Analyst to join our team, providing direct support in the area of NATO military partnerships. This role will contribute to shaping policies, strengthening partner engagement, and advancing capability development in alignment with NATO’s strategic priorities. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to foster mutual NATO–Partner cooperation on capability development
- Support integration of NATO capability development processes into Partner capability initiatives
- Coordinate ACT inputs on emerging and cross-domain capabilities (space, cyberspace) into DCB packages, Partner capability plans, and ITPPs
- Provide input to ACT strategic foresight and capability gap analyses, ensuring Partner perspectives are reflected in NATO policy and guidance
- Support Partner capability requirements development using DOTMLPFI gap analysis, wargaming, and experimentation, contributing to interoperability standards and exercises
- Identify innovative, cost-effective Partner capability solutions through engagement with S&T trends, industry, and academia
- Develop and deliver briefings to senior officers and decision makers
- Contribute to policy, directives, and process refinement
- Travel up to 30 days per year within and outside NATO boundaries
Experience:
- Graduate of a NATO or national military staff college (OF-5 level or higher)
- 10+ years’ experience working within NATO Enterprise (preferred), or other International Organization in a defense/security-related position, or within a national mission, delegation, or embassy to an IO
- 10+ years’ demonstrated working knowledge of NATO Partnerships, defense/security capacity building, defense planning, or military capability development/operations research
- US or NATO citizen with valid US or NATO member country passport
- Familiarity with military rank/grade structures
- Knowledge of military terminology
- Master’s degree (or higher) in international relations, international security, international development, military studies, foreign policy, public affairs, political science, or related discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in foreign/international security, international cooperation, defense, or military affairs may be an acceptable substitute
- Possess current SECRET Security Clearance
