Brief Description

Norwood Medical a leading medical components manufacturer seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting & Finance Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and facilitating process improvement projects within our current accounting system. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and is highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel to create and analyze financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Generate detailed reports using Excel, including aging reports, reconciliations, and expense analysis.
  • Facilitate process improvements within AP/AR functions
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve invoicing issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in an Accounting & Finance role.
  • Experience managing process improvement projects surrounding Norwood’s current AR/AP module
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions to generate reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
