SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing the activities of all Transportation, Wardrobe and Retail employees in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
Promotes the following within the department and among all employees:
Directly supervises the Supervisors and Leads of the Transportation, Wardrobe and Retail department.
Qualification Requirements

This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Four-year degree or four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer proficiency required.
Special Qualifications
The ability to instruct and train the Support Services staff in job responsibilities, casino policy and procedure. Must possess the ability to analyze and solve problems. Must possess above average communication skills, organizational skills and leadership skills. Must be computer-literate (familiar with Word and Excel).
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to write effective letters, memos, speeches, and articles for publication. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from staff members at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing the activities of all Transportation, Wardrobe and Retail employees in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Plans, develops and directs the daily operations of the Transportation, Wardrobe and Retail departments.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating employees, as needed.
- Ensures compliance with all internal policies and procedures, and adherence to all OSHA safety requirements.
- Supervises all transportation, wardrobe and retail activities on property to ensure safe operations.
- Ensures proper maintenance of all property-owned or leased vehicles.
- Prepares and adheres to department payroll and expense budgets.
- Keeps work areas for transportation, wardrobe and retail department well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all employees.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Approves vendor invoices, verifying invoices correspond to merchandise received.
- Promotes a maximum level of Guest service and satisfaction in the department.
- Responds to employee and guest complaints and/or inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Responsible for keeping accurate and up to date DOT files.
- Reorders strong-selling gift shop merchandise.
- Maintains functional equipment in the gift shops.
- Prepares management reports.

- Encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.
- Instills an atmosphere that encourages employees to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve conflicts.
