- Develop manufacturing plans for aerospace details and assemblies.
- Select the most efficient manufacturing method to optimize profitability, quality and lead time.
- Coordinate with production personnel to ensure producibility of parts.
- Identify raw materials, standards and outside processing requirements
- Assist with the maintenance of engineering drawings utilizing 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, MasterCAM)
- Assist with the resolution of manufacturing problems.
- Act as a role model to staff and participants, displaying proper work ethics and behaviors.
- Work with colleagues to review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, with 2 or more years of experience in an aerospace environment preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System requirements.
- Experience using Epicor and/or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite programs.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Continual Process Improvement, Time studies, LEAN Manufacturing, JIT, and Scheduling basics
- Strong organizational program management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

- Occasional exposure to excess noise levels, occasionally necessitating the use of Hearing Protection.
