Preti Flaherty, one of New England’s leading law firms, seeks a strategic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our law firm's continued growth by attracting top legal and professional talent. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience tailored to the unique needs of attorneys, paralegals, and professional staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for identifying top talent, a proactive approach to sourcing candidates, and enhancing the employee experience from day one.

- Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies for legal and administrative roles, including attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff.
- Partner with practice group leaders and hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and advise on market trends and candidate availability.
- Manage the full recruitment process including job posting, resume review, initial screening, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and candidate communications.
- Maintain and optimize use of the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal hiring standards.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings and manage the preparation of offer letters and onboarding documents.
- Design and facilitate onboarding programs that introduce new hires to the firm's culture, policies, technology, and practice-specific processes.
- Lead and continuously improve the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees during their first ninety days of employment
- Monitor key recruiting and onboarding metrics to report on effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition and onboarding, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Proven experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; experience with Bamboo HRIS is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
