Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal focused on Mass Tort and Class Action Case Assessment for our legal technology client. This is a full-time, fully remote position.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Paralegal to support impactful litigation efforts through in-depth case evaluation and legal research. This role plays a key part in identifying potential class action and mass tort cases by synthesizing data and documentation across a range of sources. - Build and manage documentation, timelines, and evidentiary records in the case knowledge system
- Draft legal correspondence including discovery materials, subpoenas, and notices
- Collaborate with legal experts, analysts, and attorneys to verify data and complete case assessments
- Track ongoing litigation developments and flag important case movements for internal teams
- Experience supporting complex civil litigation, particularly in mass tort or class action contexts
- Familiarity with legal research tools including PACER, Westlaw/Lexis, and state e-filing platforms
- Proficient in spreadsheet tools and data organization (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify legal and scientific content
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy
