Classroom Assistant
The MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment)

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is seeking a Classroom Assistant. This is an entry level educational position where you will be helping with and running our educational programs. These include field trips, workshops, tours, and our free Saturday morning classes. We are looking for an individual who loves to learn and teach others, is patient with children, and has a good knowledge of digital art creation and history.
Additionally you will be working as a front desk assistant for a few shifts a week. The position requires reliable attendance, customer service focus, attention to detail, strong organization skills, and good follow through. You will be handling point of sale transactions, opening and closing of the museum, general cleaning and maintenance of the museum floor and restrooms, helping visitors with the playable exhibits, and managing interns who share your duties.
More than anything we are looking for a person who is excited to learn and teach others about video game history and creation. You’ll have access to one of the largest collections of video games in the world to help in that task. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of digital artists through playable preservation and you will be a guiding light to these future luminaries.
