Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in tracking budgets, managing expenses, and adhering to schedules.
- Handle submittal approvals and manage shop drawings to ensure timely material procurement.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings and support subcontractor coordination and planning.
- Maintain updated As-Built drawings and manage project documentation.
- Serve as on-site quality manager; ensure materials meet project specs and approved submittals.
- Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, and owners during construction.
- Support pricing of proposal change documents and distribute to subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Oversee daily site activities and provide project support through commissioning.
- Assist in enforcing jobsite safety policies and ensure full compliance with safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management, or 2-4 years of relevant field experience.
- Solid understanding of construction practices and eagerness to learn company processes.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and project documentation.
- Effective decision-making under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
- Work conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments, including various weather conditions.
- Physical tasks include lifting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and equipment operation.
- Frequent exposure to heavy equipment, loud environments, and rugged terrain.
