Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery - PRN Tier Plan

The experienced Nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, providing education and resources.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents patient history and care.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to team members to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Meets competency expectations, completes required certifications within set timeframes, and participates in onboarding and ongoing education.
  
  

Licensure includes current RN license and certifications such as BLS, with additional certifications like NRP, ACLS, and fetal monitoring as required.

• Experience in perinatal or similar specialty preferred; recent acute care experience qualifies as experienced associate.
  
  

Work is per diem as needed, not exceeding 1150 characters.
