Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the upcoming school year.
- Full-Time position (35-40 hours/week) on an onsite, 10-month schedule (August-June).
- Contract-to-Hire opportunity with weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k, housing, and meals/incidentals.
- Requires a valid Maryland Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification (K12), active Maryland driver’s license, and current certification in good standing.
- Travel within the community for student instruction is required.
- Preferred experience with school-based settings and supporting visually impaired students in both school and community environments.
- Must have strong documentation, progress monitoring, communication, and collaboration skills with educational teams and families.
