Position Overview
The Investment Research Analyst Intern will gain hands-on experience by working closely with our Investment Team. The paid internship offers the opportunity to develop your analytical skills and deepen your understanding of equity, fixed income, and alternative investments. You will be involved in real-world projects and contribute to the research and management of client portfolios.
This internship requires in-person office attendance at our Carmel, IN headquarters.
Duties And Responsibilities
Position Overview

Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing public fund managers and individual stocks and bonds
- Support research and due diligence on alternative investment managers and private products
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to investment decision-making processes
- Attend team meetings, investment presentations, and training sessions
- Querying, cleaning, and analyzing advisor and client data
- Administrative tasks including record entry, database maintenance, and scanning/filing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, specifically advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Intermediate industry knowledge is preferred along with interest in the pursuing the CFA designation

- Potential to hire for full-time Valeo Investment Analyst Rotational Program upon successful completion of the internship
