The Pay Range For This Role Is
65,000 - 68,000 USD per year(Lafayette IN )

- Analyze manufacturing processes
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives are observed for all work completed.
- Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Observe workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
- Observe workers operating equipment or performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate using timing devices.
- Review and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Considered a specialist in areas of manufacturing engineering, such as process control, standard work development, PFMEA, metrology, automated testing, torque processes, gages, and administrative application.
- May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
- - Prework includes reviewing process documentation, control plans, past internal audit findings, drawing requirements, SPC, among other relevant process requirements
- - Planned Method Audits include at least 1hr of observation in a machining or assembly shop environment and write detailed notes on any discrepancies or deficiencies in following the documented process.
- - Post-work includes summarizing the PMA results, communicating to the leadership team and following up on a routine basis.
- Interaction with team:
- - This position will work within a quality internal audit team and consist of approximately 4 members and 1 manager. This position will work closely with other support groups such as manufacturing, operations and quality.
- Team Structure
- - Multiple internal auditor positions work together, support each other, and are led by a manager. This team is within the facilities proactive quality team.
- Work environment:
- 70% office environment / 30% shop floor environment. 100% on-site support is expected.
- Years of experience: 5-7 Years
- Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree

- Ability to work independently, meet timelines, and identify solutions to manufacturing process issues
- -Strong computer literacy in Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Ability to clearly and easily communicate with shop floor technicians, ask relevant questions of their work, and document potential deficiencies in the process, Print reading, Control Plan experience
- Gage and torque tool knowledge
- Candidates with only internship experience
- Candidates with master's degrees or senior manager experience
