We are seeking a results driven, highly organized Manager, Social Media and Partner Marketing to lead the growth and optimization of our brand marketing efforts. You’ll develop and implement social media calendars and campaigns, develop and grow key partnerships and influencers, and oversee our Commission Junction affiliate program to drive Christianbook brand awareness and customer acquisition. You’ll be a key driver in growing brand visibility, engagement, and revenue through dynamic acquisition and awareness campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience managing social media and partner marketing, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners and agencies to align campaigns with broader marketing goals while driving business alignment, efficiency, and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Marketing:

  • Partner with agencies and creative teams in the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance and provide regular reporting on engagement, acquisition, and KPIs. Optimize content and strategies based on data and results.
  • Monitor performance, optimize content based on insights, and experiment with emerging trends, channels, and formats.
  • Leverage agencies and internal teams to develop and implement effective, brand-enhancing influencer campaigns.

Partner & Affiliate Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns with publishers, authors, and key industry partners to maximize brand awareness, acquisition and engagement
  • Manage and direct Commission Junction in execution of affiliate partnerships and activities
  • Manage affiliate and partner budgets, ensuring accurate invoicing and financial reconciliation.

Performance Tracking & Analytics

  • Track KPIs (CPA, ROI, AOV, etc.) and optimize campaigns to maximize business performance
  • Generate periodic reports to assess program health and identify areas for optimization.
  • Conduct A/B tests and evaluate new partners, influencers, creative, offer structures, and/or landing page strategies.
  • Track budgets to ensure financial performance across campaigns.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with external agencies as well as internal Paid Media, Creative, Ecommerce, and Analytics teams to align on goals and deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Share insights and reports with leadership to guide strategy and investment decisions.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in social media, affiliate, or performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
  • Strong experience in managing social media, partnership, and influencer campaigns, including organic and paid efforts.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accountability and ownership over projects.
  • Familiarity with attribution models and performance marketing tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or omnichannel retail environment.
  • Affinity with, and understanding of, Christian consumers, institutions, and homeschoolers.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Commerce or related field; MBA a plus.
