This is a hybrid position starting in early October, only coming into the office every 8 weeks!

In this position you will provide exceptional service and support to our internal and external customers. Handle a variety of customer service issues, providing product and service information and resolving product and service issues that may arise. Ensure that the customer receives efficient and courteous service, coordinating with other departments as required. Act as a customer contact regarding shipments, accounts receivable inquiries, and price descriptions. Provide necessary support to sales representatives to better service the customer.
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 830 AM - 500 PM (March-November) and 930AM - 600PM (November-March)

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist customers with all inquiries related to their account i.e. track packages, process returns, issue credits, process payments, promote vendor specials and company initiatives, handle email requests.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Darby’s product offerings to confidently recommend solutions.
- Process orders while actively upselling and cross-selling products based on customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers that lead to customer loyalty, satisfaction and account growth.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Make outbound calls to vendors to help resolve issues or obtain additional information.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- 3 years of customer service experience in a call center atmosphere, preferred
- Dental industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience upselling or cross selling, strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and must possess the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms
- Attentive, adaptable, detail oriented,
- Ability to multi-task and work in a timely manner
- Must be solution driven, both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent follow up skills
- Must be empathetic, patient, courteous, and anticipate customer’s needs
