This is a multiple facility operation that requires working primarily in an office environment. Working and moving in a manufacturing and distribution center environment may be required. The employee will be in the presence of equipment that could cause injury. Adherence to safety rules and instructions are required.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchase order confirmations.
- Handle Vendor Returns and debit memos.
- Support the Procurement team email box by handling incoming emails.
- Update Purchase Order due dates as needed.
- Monitor, track, and expedite order deliveries to ensure they are received on time and meet quality standards.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing, or quality (GRIR and price amendments as requested).
- Release and process special orders/dropships as requested by the buyer.
- Additional task as requested by management
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing/inventory management/supply chain environment.
- Experience in a global organization with multiple distribution channels is preferred.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel skills are required, with advanced Excel skills a plus. Experience within SAP is desired.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to speak and email effectively with
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Decision-Making Skills: You will need to use the information you have gathered to make sound decisions on
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and willingness to learn and adapt to new procurement
- Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices are an advantage.
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
