The Role
We’re looking for an Events & Social Media Manager who’s equal parts creator, connector, and culture-obsessed. About 70% of your time will go toward building our social presence, and 30% will focus on executing in-person events (with travel of up to one week per month, at most). You’ll be the person making sure Respondology shows up in the feeds and at the events where marketers are paying attention.
We don’t just want to grow a brand handle. We want someone who gets the value of building people’s handles and helping our execs and team members shine as thought leaders.
On the events side, you’ll roll up your sleeves and help us bring our brand to life—whether it’s a private dinner for marketing leaders or showing up at a major industry conference. From RSVPs to swag to capturing the perfect behind-the-scenes moment for socials, you’ll help make it happen.
Who We Are
Put simply, we’re a social marketer’s best friend. Respondology is the social comments company with AI solutions for moderating unwanted content, surfacing insights, and engaging at any scale. We work with major sports teams and brands across industries to build community at scale by helping social media marketers listen to, protect, and engage with their hard-won audiences.

What You’ll Do
Social Media (70%)
- Build and execute Respondology’s social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels where marketers live
- Create and post content that doesn’t read like B2B copy-paste (or GPT copy-paste). You are creative and don’t want to put up boring content that anyone could create. You’re also not afraid to hop on a trend if it makes sense.
- Partner with our content marketing manager to nail messaging and storytelling
- Grow the reach and influence of key team members’ personal handles by collaborating on ideas and content that highlight their thought leadership.
- Track performance, share insights (seriously, you’re obsessed with getting your work seen and shared), and constantly experiment with new formats and trends.
- Coordinate our own events—think intimate dinners, happy hours, and curated gatherings for marketing leaders
- Handle logistics: restaurant selection, reservations, invites, RSVPs, swag creation + shipping
- Partner with agencies/partners for larger events when needed
- Capture content during events that plays well on social—highlight moments, energy, and community
- Work closely with the marketing team to tie event efforts into larger campaigns and cross-functional initiatives
- 3+ years of social media experience at a B2B or B2C brand
- Startup experience strongly preferred
- Personally obsessed with pop culture, social media, and brand storytelling
- Excited to bring B2C-style creativity to B2B marketing
- Strong project management skills—you can juggle multiple moving parts and still hit deadlines
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 1 week per month at most)
- You actually thrive in fast-paced environments and flex as things change. If you’re cool with building a playbook as we go, this is the place for you. If you want clear direction, rigid structure, and need to be told what to do next, a startup won’t be your jam.
- A portfolio of standout content (social posts, campaigns, event recaps) that shows your creativity and results
- A track record of building and managing your own social media presence with real engagement (bonus if you’ve grown a personal or side project account from scratch)
- We have a values-led culture with team members who have your back.
- This is a hybrid role which will require a portion of each week (not every day) in the office in Boulder, CO. Must be within commuting distance and willing to come in!
- We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance through providing flexible work arrangements, as well as a Flex PTO plan with generous holidays including a break between Christmas and New Years.
- We offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to support employee and family well-being including 100% fully paid family leave policies, life insurance and supplemental insurance options.
- We provide matching traditional and Roth 401k, fully vested from day one.
