We are currently seeking a Shop Manager for our manufacturing division—a dynamic, results-oriented leader who will drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in overseeing our centrifuge manufacturing operations, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep technical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the manufacturing shop, including production scheduling, resource planning, and workflow efficiency.
  • Champion workplace safety by ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quality control, and procurement teams to coordinate production efforts and meet project deadlines.
  • Enforce and refine quality control protocols to ensure all centrifuge systems meet customer specifications and industry benchmarks.
  • Identify and execute process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
  • Monitor production KPIs and operational data to identify performance trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee inventory control and procurement processes, coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of materials and components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred) or a minimum of 8 years of experience in centrifuge manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in project management, resource planning, and production scheduling.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and other manufacturing software tools.
  • Pre-employment background check & drug screening required.
