About The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for supporting Global Strategy and Business Development at Driscoll’s with a particular focus on technology strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise integration initiatives. The individual in this position will help manage the global strategic planning process in partnership with the Director of Global Strategy and Business Development. The individual will also support discrete strategic initiatives across the company and play a key role in driving technology-enabled change across the business. This position will have significant visibility to the senior leadership of the Company, including the CEO, CFO, and CIO.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Units to identify, prioritize, and execute technology-enabled initiatives that are aligned to Driscoll’s Strategy House
• Define and refine Driscoll’s enterprise AI roadmap, including use case identification, capability building, and integration into core business processes
• Evaluate and guide implementation of AI tools across functions such as R&D, supply chain, and support functions, and sales to drive measurable business value
• Execute initiatives to improve Driscoll’s understanding of technology trends, digital innovations, competitive intelligence, and emerging tools that may impact the business
• Support Business Development projects such as expansion into new geographies or products, with emphasis on technology landscape assessment and integration planning
• Translate external market and technology trends into meaningful short- and long-term goals for Driscoll’s and its Business Units
• Contribute to the Business Unit’s people priorities and objectives regarding leadership effectiveness, engaged employees, and enabling others to perform
• Domestic and international travel required up to 10%.
• Represent Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the broader business community
  
  

Candidate Profile

Requirements

• High potential internal candidate
• If external, 2+ years in management consulting, technology strategy, or enterprise software/IT consulting at a top firm strongly preferred
• Excellent academic foundation including a bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; candidate’s PowerPoint must extend beyond basic slide-making to include storyboard development and technical concept visualization (e.g., ThinkCell)
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience in technology implementation, system integration, or digital transformation initiatives (ERP, CRM, supply chain systems, analytics platforms, AI strategy, etc.)
• Excellent written & oral communication skills, including prior experience with executive communication and technology storytelling
• MBA strongly preferred, with a background that bridges business strategy and technology fluency
• Willingness to “wear many hats” and adapt to ensure success
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects, including people management, change management, and technology adoption
• A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions

Compensation & Benefits

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.

Salary Range estimated for the Manager Global Strategy and Business Development: $160,000 to $180,000 USD.
