We are seeking a highly motivated Event Services Intern to assist the Guest Services Managers and Coordinators. In this role you will assist with administrative work, events preparation and execution. You will collaborate and assist with premium activations during games, concerts, special events and other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Event Services Managers and Coordinators with game day preparation and assigned duties.
  • Complete administrative tasks including preparing event information sheets for Part Time Team Members.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of in-arena activations, fan giveaways, and club areas.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Coordinators on special assignments, such as training sessions for Part Time Team Members and Team Captains.
  • Plan and execute Team Member engagement events for both Part Time and Full Time Team Members.
  • Assist with event planning and operational execution as assigned.
  • Support game day/event day responsibilities including club set up, inventory management, and data reporting.
  • Be knowledgeable and familiar with the arena, premium seating locations, and club amenities.

What We Need From Our Event Services Intern

  • Combination of office hours and event hours, averaging 32–40 hours per week.
  • Availability on game nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note, Publisher).
  • A detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills.
  • A motivated individual who can take directions and execute at a high level with sometimes minimal follow up.
  • A creative and innovative individual looking to kick start their career in the Sports and Entertainment industry.

Experience/Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Currently a junior or higher in college education or a recent graduate.

  • Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is
  • Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Must be able to carry on with a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required.
