IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team. Your primary role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues faced by our associates, ensuring smooth operations and problem resolution. This is an on-site role located in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in network maintenance and user technical support
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent workstation and network troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical and problems solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between them as priorities change.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion
• Effective communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications preferred
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees by answering incoming support requests via phone, email, or in-person, and promptly resolving or escalating issues as required.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides.
• Collaborate with the IT team to assist in the management of user accounts and permissions.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on the use of technology tools and applications.
• Assist in the setup and support of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
• Perform other IT support duties and projects as assigned.
