Founded in 1953, Aerosonic has grown to be a leader in aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment - including air data systems, standby displays, digital and mechanical standby instruments, sensors and probes. Our customers include the major manufacturers of today’s civil, military and business fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms as well as all branches of the US military forces. We are currently seeking an on-site Logistics Supervisor for our Clearwater, FL facility.

The right candidate will: Oversee all material that physically flows through the plant, from receiving material, storage locations throughout facility and shipping out. Ensures a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are distributed to corresponding departments in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy customer requirements. Excellent leadership skills to facilitate and direct logistical specialists, as well as, critical thinking to implement continuous improvement projects are a MUST!

Essentials of role: implement cost reduction through process improvements, interfacing with customers to answer questions and resolve open issues, achievement of high level customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, shipping, kitting, cycle counting and identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of good. Supervision of staffing needs and assignments with demonstrated leadership skills and excellent time management and organization. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree, in Business preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment practicing lean practices. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably MAX, inventory control, shipping/invoicing and ship floor modues. Strong computer skills, MS office are a must.
