We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR & Compliance Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Overview
The HR & Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring employee files remain complete, accurate, and compliant. This role supports onboarding, digital document management/upload, filing, and follow-up on expiring credentials to help maintain Dependable Nursing’s high standards of care and compliance. The coordinator will also conduct initial phone screens with new hire candidates as needed to support the recruiting process and ensure strong team fit.

The coordinator will also conduct initial phone screens with new hire candidates as needed to support the recruiting process and ensure strong team fit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding process
- Transition employee files to digital format and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and track expiring documents (licenses, certifications, training, etc.) and follow up with staff as needed
- Conduct initial phone screens with applicants, reference checks, and follow-up calls during hiring process
- Support HR and compliance projects to ensure regulatory standards are met
- Provide administrative support as needed to the HR and operations team
- 401(k) plan available to all employees
- 40 hours of paid sick time provided annually
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable making phone calls for follow-ups, applicant screenings, and sending reminders to staff and candidates.
- Responsible for closing the office when scheduled.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Associate’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity and Axxess is a plus.
- Previous experience in administrative, HR, or compliance support preferred.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
