What You Will Be Doing

  • Crafting precise, actionable specifications for cutting-edge, AI-driven HR systems.
  • Developing and managing workflows using advanced low-code and AI platforms.
  • Directly executing onboarding, coaching, and release processes when automation isn't feasible.
  • Creating dashboards that provide instant insights into performance and coaching opportunities.
  • Taking full responsibility for the success of onboarding, coaching, and releasing processes.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Managing a conventional HR team or depending on business partners for results.
  • Using outdated tools or maintaining legacy workflows.
  • Participating in alignment meetings or committee discussions.
  • Waiting for engineers to develop the tools you require.
  • Relying on static documentation instead of dynamic system feedback.

Chief HR Systems Officer Key Responsibilities

Deliver a fully automated HR function that supports global talent operations without traditional managers or manual processes.

Basic Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing operational systems using AI and low/no-code tools.
  • Expertise in creating functional automations and prototypes independently.
  • Strong analytical skills to transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable making critical talent decisions autonomously.
  • Experience in high-pressure, autonomous environments.
  • Based in the U.S., preferably in Austin, or willing to travel monthly.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience in business operations, engineering, data analytics, or product management.
  • Background in developing AI-native systems in fast-paced settings.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI platforms and "vibe-coding" culture.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
