Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support batch record review, data evaluation, and inspection activities in a fast-paced medical device or diagnostics environment. This role involves auditing materials and documentation, identifying non-conformances, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
  • Review batch records and related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and document non-conformances to specifications or procedures.
  • Handle discrepant materials and document disposition activities.
  • Perform basic data analysis and reporting using Excel or manual methods.
  • Maintain accurate records through system transactions, sign offs, and reports.
  • Issue, count, and manage inventory across storage areas.
  • Handle and document hazardous waste according to procedures.
  • Communicate status of audits and assignments clearly and timely.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in medical device or diagnostic industries.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or some college strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and inspection protocols.
