Top Central Texas Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Member Representative! The Mortgage Member Representative will serve as the initial point of contact for all members and non members that are interested in obtaining a Mortgage Loan. The Mortgage Member Representative will be familiar with all loan products offered by the department and will advise members and prospects of mortgage product offerings and program requirements. The Mortgage Member Representative will assist members with completing the mortgage application and communicate member expectations and timelines to the member and provide administrative reports to management that report application activities.

As a Mortgage Member Representative, You Will

• Provide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all prospects, members and staff by replying to all messages and correspondence within 2 hours. Continue follow-up with a minimum of three attempts for all prospects. Document and report all contact attempts.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the credit union's mortgage loan policies and procedures and relevant government rules and regulations.
• Route qualified mortgage prospects to the Mortgage Loan Officer during the same business in which the applicant becomes qualified.
• Track and report Mortgage Loan Office contact attempts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Actively participate in department and team meetings.
• Work with Mortgage Manager by providing reports to measure the quality of service and timeframes in which we are communicating with applicants.
  
  

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and Is capable of managing and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Has a college degree (preferred) or has two to five years of similar or related mortgage experience.
• Accurately and timely completes all job duties listed in the Job Descriptions in compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Is proficient with the entire line of Microsoft Office products.
• Is a good communicator, and someone who enjoys collaborating with peers for the betterment of the credit union.
• Adheres to the highest ethical standards, and someone who exhibits professional conduct all the time and maintains confidentiality with Credit Union information.
• Maintains a professional work environment and professional appearance and represents Texell with a professional image.
