Position Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Scheduling Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing production schedules to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of glulam, CLT, and other engineered wood products. This role will work closely with production, logistics, procurement, project management, and the sales teams to coordinate the flow of materials and labor in alignment with project timelines and customer delivery expectations. This is an on-site position located at our facility in Conway, AR.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules in alignment with project deadlines and plant capacity.
Collaborate with project management and sales teams to understand project priorities, change orders, and delivery commitments.
Coordinate material availability and inventory levels with procurement and inventory personnel to avoid delays and minimize waste.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to account for disruptions (machine downtime, labor shortages, material delays, etc.).
Analyze labor and equipment capacity to optimize resource allocation and reduce bottlenecks.
Lead scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams to align on timelines, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Provide accurate lead-time estimates and production forecasts to stakeholders.
Develop KPIs to measure schedule adherence and continuously improve scheduling processes.
Support production planning for prefabrication, CNC machining, and panel assembly processes.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all scheduling decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of experience in production scheduling or operations planning in a manufacturing environment (mass timber or construction products preferred).
Strong understanding of engineered wood manufacturing processes, including CNC operations and panel assembly.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, etc.) and production scheduling software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods is a plus.

- The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 (USD). Your salary will be commensurate with your education and experience
