Position Summary

We’re hiring a qualified Automotive Diesel Technician Level 2 to join our growing Commerce City service department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles, including Class 7 and Class 8 units. You’ll work alongside experienced team members in a shop that values expertise, precision, and accountability.

Job Type & Schedule

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with optional or rotating Saturdays

Pay Range: $30-$50 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems with minimal supervision

Conduct preventative maintenance services and safety checks

Operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently and accurately

Communicate clearly with service advisors to provide updates and recommendations

Accurately log all service work and repairs in the system

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Provide guidance and support to entry-level technicians as needed

Follow all safety standards and operational procedures set by the shop

Required Qualifications

2+ years of diesel technician experience working with Class 7 or 8 trucks

Strong knowledge of diagnostics, troubleshooting, and diesel repair best practices

High school diploma or GED required; trade school training is a plus

Familiarity with OEM diagnostic systems and service software

ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred

Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
