Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful
completion of technology integration projects. The PM serves as the client’s primary contact once a project is sold, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role coordinates resources, manages project risks, and oversees programming, warranty, and service delivery. The PM directly manages scheduling, documentation, and service-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Overall planning, execution, and closing of projects in alignment with scope, schedule,
and budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients once a project is sold, ensuring clear
communication and client satisfaction.
Develop detailed project plans and schedules that align customer requirements with
company resources.
Direct scheduling responsibility for field resources, ensuring efficient utilization and
timely project execution.
Coordinate all internal and external resources: technicians, subcontractors, and their
time as programming.
Actively monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and implement corrective actions as
needed.
Manage project documentation, including change orders, as-builts, and close-out
packages.
Lead warranty and service call follow-up for completed projects, ensuring issues are
resolved promptly and effectively.
Oversee project-related service dispatch and escalate complex service needs.
Programming Oversight & Execution: Contribute directly to programming tasks
(control, DSP, commissioning).
Ensure programming aligns with system design, and conduct quality control reviews to
confirm system stability, functionality, and client sign-off.
Ensure System Performance Verification Checklist is followed on every project.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
On-time project completion.
Project budget adherence and profitability.
Change order capture rate (ratio of additional work billed vs. additional work
requested).
Customer Satisfaction (CSAT and sign-off scores).
Team utilization and management efficiency.
Safety and compliance adherence.
Time to close-out projects and deliver documentation packages.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $65,000 – $95,000 depending on experience and certifications.
Starting Range: Typically $75,000 – $85,000.
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus of 5–10%.

Qualifications
Must-Haves (Baseline):
CTS certification.
At least one control system certification (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron).
Strongly Preferred:
Dante Level 2+.
Q-SYS Level 2+.
Crestron Certified Programmer.
CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
Nice to Have:
CCNA or CompTIA Network+.
CTS-D or CTS-I.
Biamp Tesira certification.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, technology, or related field
preferred; equivalent experience considered.
3–7 years of experience managing AV integration projects or similar technical project
management roles.
Experience with AV system programming and commissioning is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple projects.
Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
Technical proficiency with AV systems, control systems, and DSP programming.
Ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with project management
responsibilities.
