Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile utility data related to design, construction, and facility submissions.
- Perform QA/QC and upload CMMS and GIS data for Bond-impacted projects, including equipment, infrastructure, and security features.
- Manage and maintain as-built records, including CAD/BIM drawings and underground utility databases.
- Review CADD submissions for compliance with ASCE 38-02 and other utility infrastructure standards.
- Support as-built and M&O data delivery at closeout for projects involving infrastructure, security, energy, and stormwater systems.
- Develop and maintain record utility maps and SharePoint databases for project documentation.
- Track and coordinate BIM submittals across college project teams, designers, and contractors.
- Review BIM and utility submissions for conformance with GIS integration requirements.
- Provide technical support on software platforms: Revit, AutoCAD, SharePoint, Bluebeam, ESRI, and BIM 360.
- Conduct site walks and perform field verification, including LIDAR scanning, GPR, GPS surveying, and documentation photography.
- Communicate directly with CPT, design teams, and construction stakeholders to resolve issues and provide weekly updates to the BIM Manager.
- Assist in defining BIM and GIS scopes of service as needed.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- (Additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.)
- 5+ years of recent experience in Architecture or Construction Management with a focus on utility coordination.
- Advanced understanding of GIS concepts, data mapping, and spatial analysis.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Map 3D for modeling and coordination tasks.
- Skilled in SharePoint, BIM 360 Docs, and Bluebeam for document management and project collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with field data collection tools: LIDAR scanners, GPR and GPS surveying, and project site photography.
- 3-4 weeks of PTO + paid client holidays
