The Public Relations / Events Coordinator will assist with planning, development and implementation of initiatives related to and supporting the Institution's public relations, communications and marketing plans.

Job Summary
The Public Relations / Events Coordinator will assist with planning, development and implementation of initiatives related to and supporting the Institution's public relations, communications and marketing plans.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit a variety of communications.
- Create and update content for a variety of digital platforms.
- Take and edit photos and video.
- Coordinate production of printed pieces, advertisements and other publicity materials and marketing collateral.
- Assist with social media marketing and communications initiatives and event planning and promotion.
- 1-3 years of related experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Excellent communication, proofreading, and editing skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and outlets.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
