Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Website Specialist at our main office in Minden, Nevada
Minden, NV is a small town located in the western part of Nevada, in the Carson Valley, about 15 miles south of Carson City and roughly 45 miles south of Reno. It serves as the county seat of Douglas County. The area is known for its pc picturesque landscapes, characterized by the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and the Carson Range to the east. Minden itself is a charming, historic town with a population of just under 4,000 people.
Pay: Starting 60k to 70k a year (DOE)

What you will do: As the Website Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the user experience across multiple programs and company websites.
To be considered you should: 2-4 year degree in Web Design, development, IT, Digital Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent experience ~ 2+ years of experience in website development, design or site management role ~ Proficiency with WordPress: theme customization, plugin configuration, and troubleshooting ~ Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design ~ Working knowledge of SEO best practices ~ Effective project management and organizational skills ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat ~ Meticulous attention to detail, including proofreading and content accuracy ~ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment ~ Ability to work independently and collaboratively~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Monday - Friday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm
