About The Role

  • We are seeking a creative, data-driven Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role is focused on promoting artist merchandise, engaging fans, driving traffic to our online stores, and growing our marketing audience. You will work directly with the Ecommerce and Marketing teams to execute multi-channel campaigns, activate new sales channels, and proactively develop opportunities to drive Ecommerce growth.

What You'll Do

  • Email & SMS Marketing: Oversee the growth and performance of dozens of official artist newsletters & email lists. Design, compose, and schedule mass emails & texts, segment audiences & send them targeted messages, and build automations triggered by customer behavior. Strike a balance between fan-focused marketing that fosters engagement and brand loyalty, and performance-driven marketing that drives Ecommerce traffic and sales.
  • Creative Asset Design: Create compelling graphics for email blasts, website banners, social media posts, and digital ads using tools like Canva or Photoshop. Utilize a third-party tool to execute physical postcard promotions to top fan segments. Blend visually appealing, on-brand imagery with effective, optimized designs rooted in marketing best-practices.
  • Sales Channel Expansion: Connect Shopify stores to external channels such as Meta, YouTube, Spotify for Artists, and TikTok Shop, and ensure product metadata is optimized. Utilize Shop App’s capabilities to launch geo-targeted offers around live shows and tours. Develop and execute innovative fan data acquisition initiatives, both online and offline, and propose ways to increase Ecommerce visibility at live shows & events.
  • Paid Media Support: Monitor the performance of ads on Meta, Google Search, and other paid platforms. Collaborate with third-party agencies on budget & targeting, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign results across email, SMS, and paid media; monitor marketing’s impact on site traffic, conversion, and revenue. Build post-mortem analysis by campaign and develop quarterly ecommerce performance reports by artist.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in Ecommerce performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred).
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo preferred), SMS platforms (e.g. Postscript), and advertising platforms (e.g. Meta ads, Google Search ads).
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms like monday.com, Asana, Trello, or similar
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics and analytics including email engagement, site traffic by source, conversion rate, customer lifetime value, and ROAS.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for pop culture and an understanding of fandom, superfan monetization, and audience engagement.
