We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Princeton, IN. This is an onsite role, and we are looking for candidates based in the surrounding area or willing to relocate.
About The Role
In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision, compliance, and reliability of advanced vehicle calibration systems. You’ll develop detailed specifications, interface with vehicle ECUs, and collaborate with global teams to maintain industry-leading standards.
Work Location: Princeton, IN (Onsite required)
Travel: Up to 20% across North America, with occasional trips to Japan
Driving Requirement: Must maintain a motor vehicle record acceptable by company standards
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing detailed specifications to meet technical tolerances for vehicle calibration (headlamp aim, radar cruise control, etc.)
Interfacing computer hardware/software with vehicle ECUs via both wired and wireless methods
Interpreting technical standards related to vehicle calibration and communications
Utilizing AutoCAD, Catia, XVL, and Inventor to design and refine engineering solutions
Preparing reports, documentation, and presentations using MS Office
Collaborating with engineering teams across North America and Japan to align technical objectives
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (or Engineering with Electrical and Computer emphasis)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia / XVL / Inventor
Expertise in vehicle calibration standards and ECU communications
Ability to develop specifications that meet precise tolerances
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to travel up to 20% as required
Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting company standards
Bonus Skills (Nice To Have)
Ability to read Japanese
Electrical systems or systems engineering experience
Microcomputer and/or embedded systems expertise
Interview Process
One-round STAR/Video interview (60 minutes with the hiring manager).
