The Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) organization operates within the Disney Experiences Global Marketing Center of Excellence, providing data-driven analytics and insights to inform commercial, product development, digital, and guest experience strategies. CIMA enables business partners to anticipate and respond to consumer needs, optimize guest experiences, achieve business goals, and objectively measure decisions for continuous improvement.

Job Description

The Vice President of Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics for Disneyland Resort (DLR) and Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) is responsible for shaping the strategic direction and fostering innovation in consumer insights, measurement methodologies, and analytics practices. This role requires a visionary leader adept at leveraging emerging tools and developing strategic plans to generate deeper insights and enhance operational efficiencies.

The executive will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive, business-aligned insight and analytic strategies for DLR and DSE, championing advanced analytic techniques and cultivating a culture of innovation. This leader oversees scalable analytics designed to support strategic decision-making with a consumer-first focus.

We are seeking a collaborative and motivational individual to lead a team dedicated to researching, analyzing, synthesizing, and applying insights to inform present and future decision-making in a dynamic market and consumer environment. Candidates should demonstrate success in realizing a consumer-centric vision, defining roadmaps, and guiding teams through the application of research and analytics to business initiatives. The Vice President will be an influential leader of people, projects, and partnerships, capable of navigating complexity and ambiguity to provide clear direction. This position is based in Anaheim, California.

This VP will report to the Senior Vice President, CIMA.

Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with site leadership to ensure business objectives and strategies are aligned.
  • Consumer Insights: Establish and execute initiatives to collect, analyze, and interpret consumer data, delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Measurement and Analytics: Manage the creation and implementation of measurement tools and analytics frameworks to monitor performance and identify trends.
  • Innovation: Integrate artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to strengthen data analysis and discover deeper consumer insights.
  • Efficiency and Optimization: Apply analytics to improve operational effectiveness and streamline organizational processes.
  • Collaboration: Promote effective partnerships with site leadership and cross-functional teams to embed insights into strategic planning.
  • Talent Development: Mentor a high-performing team in research, analysis, and data science, supporting professional growth.
  • Storytelling: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, impactful narratives for senior leaders and stakeholders.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 12-15 years' progressive leadership experience in consumer insight, research, strategy planning, or advanced analytics
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence decision-making across all levels of a global matrixed organization
  • Expertise in integrating diverse data sources into actionable insights and compelling stories
  • Advanced working knowledge of consumer research methodologies, analytical techniques, software, and industry developments relevant to business challenges
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, turning vision into action, motivating teams, and executing decisions
  • Established record of innovation and challenging traditional business approaches
  • Capacity to anticipate long-term trends, articulate future consumer stories, and identify growth opportunities

Education


  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, economics, or related field

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $232,500.00 to $311,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
