Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable General Construction worker to join our team. Your role will be crucial in various construction projects, following construction plans and instructions in the Commercial Refrigeration Industry. Your contribution will be highly valued as you work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and perform strenuous physical tasks.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
• Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding.
• Assisting contractors, e.g. electricians and painters, as required.
• Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Excavating duties
• Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
• Preparing, installing, framing and finishing drywall.

Experience And Education Desired Skills, Certifications, And Education

• Minimum 3 years as a General Construction Laborer
• Work experience in the Commercial Refrigeration Industry is a plus
• Certifications in the construction industry is a plus
• Ability to operate tools and machinery
• Excellent communication skills
• Time management skills
• Team player who can ensure fast, reliable, and expert service to every customer.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

Regularly required to stand; walk; climb; carry; bend; kneel; reach; push; pull; occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; noise level is medium/low.
