Job Summary

Business Analysts are responsible for creating new models that support business decisions by working closely with financial reporting and IT teams to establish initiatives and strategies to improve importing and to optimize costs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Always exhibits the highest standard of personal ethics and adheres to all Pella Carolina policies
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability by adhering to established protocols, proactively identifying potential risks, and fostering a workplace environment where safety is a shared priority
  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business and its different skilled userbase
  • Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analyses
  • Product sales by segment, type, and part with trend deep dives
  • Inventory and sales variance analyses
  • Market pricing and profitability analyses
  • Report building for end users and executives
  • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
  • Extensive computer skills, be detail oriented, and have outstanding organizational skills as well as communication skills
  • Ability to take complex data and communicate it in actionable reporting for end users, management, and executives
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance , Information Technology, or Information Systems preferred
  • Programing (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Certification in SAS/SQL a plus
  • Must have experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with PowerBI
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SQL scripts and data mining
  • Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical projects
  • Ability to work independently and have the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders to gather information
