Meyers Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager for its Structural Steel Division. This role requires sharp problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Review & Interpretation - Review and interpret contract documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Scheduling - Develop and align project schedules with structural steel fabrication and erection sequences.
  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain relationships with superintendents, managers, erectors, and vendors.
  • Submittals & Documentation - Facilitate, review, and submit project submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoices.
  • Shop Drawings - Create and review hand shop drawings when required.
  • Field Coordination - Conduct field measurements as needed; develop site-specific erection procedures and plans.
  • Procurement & Job Buyout - Oversee buyouts and coordinate fabrication, delivery, and installation with shop and field personnel.
  • Cost Control - Monitor project budgets, track job costs, and provide timely reports.
  • Software Integration - Utilize Tekla EPM and Procore to manage workflow, costs, and communication.
  • Meetings- Attend job Kick off meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years of experience in the steel construction industry.
  • Ability to read project plans and specifications.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in email, Excel, Word, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience with Fabtrol, Fabsuite, or Tekla EPM.
  • Previous project management experience in structural steel.

Salary & Benefits

Schedule

  • Full-Time - Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability as needed based on project demands
