We are looking for a compassionate and organized Dog Foster Support Specialist to support our foster families. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for foster families, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to care for their foster dogs. You in turn have a team to support you with medical, placements, and behavior specialists, as well as your Foster Pack Leader. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for animal welfare. This is a 'people focused' role more than a 'dog focused' role. Your job is to support the people who are caring for our foster dogs. You are NOT expected to be an expert in anything dog related. Your ability to listen, communicate, and empathize is much more important. You will work remotely for 5 hours a week with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked. Becoming the number one dog destination in Spokane and capitalizing on Spokane's love of Rescue Dogs.

Who You Are:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for foster families, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor the health, behavior, and progress of foster dogs.
- Address any concerns or issues that arise with foster placements.
- Collaborate with the foster team to coordinate dog placements and adoptions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to track and manage multiple cases at once.
- Work independently, contributing 5 hours per week remotely.
- Regularly communicate with the foster team to ensure the success of placements.
