We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director of Retail to join our In-Person team. The Senior Director of Retail will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail environment, including sales, guest experience, and developing and scaling standards across our 20+ retail experiences. This role is accountable for the success of KREWE’s retail locations and will need to work with a high degree of speed and urgency to ensure excellence in guest experience is met. This individual must also forecast and mitigate the impact of uncertainty in today’s retail environment.

This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

RETAIL STRATEGY + EXECUTION

  • Develop and ensure execution of the overall retail sales strategy to align with brand goals.
  • Define short and long term tactics for continued sales growth.
  • Serve as strategic thought leader regarding data driven and creative approach to in-person retail expansions.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform store business decisions.

SALES + PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Set strategy, monitor and ensure store locations positively contribute KPIs, sales goals and P+L performance.
  • Implement programs that drive foot traffic, conversion, ATV and repeat customers to optimize performance.
  • Analyze KPIs, daily sales and product sell thru reports to inform speed of action that result in improved sales outcomes.
  • Communicate with store and field leaders regarding sales reports, marketing campaigns, and day-to-day store operations. Address any opportunities to improve these metrics.

Guest Experience

  • Revamp and implement the KREWE Guest Experience which exceeds customary standards and service levels.
  • Identify and implement improved service practices and procedures to elevate the Guest and Visual Brand Experience.
  • Ensure all stores deliver service excellence and Visual Brand Standards across all stores.
  • Strengthen community engagement through localized events to drive traffic and location awareness within every market.

LEADERSHIP + TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Foster a high-performing culture focused on accountability, service excellence and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain an environment of learning, development and expansive growth to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work with retail managers to build community and foster relationships with area leaders.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Partner with Marketing, Planning, Operations and other key departments to create a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
  • Collaborate with HR to support recruiting, training and development initiatives to strengthen brand culture.
  • Liaise with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in luxury retail senior leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an omni-channel environment preferred.
  • Proven success leading multi-unit retail operations with significant revenue responsibility.
  • Sharp attention to detail, ensuring high visual and brand standards.
  • Strong track record of effectively scaling retail operations with independent fashion brands.
  • Wins on record in strategy for scaling omni-channel direct to consumer sales systems.
  • Experience with multi-region and multi-country retail operations.
  • Experience with luxury eyewear preferred.
  • Familiar with all best practices and emerging software and POS systems.
  • Proven positive team leadership, across cultures and functions.
